everything about that show is so sad. all these dead comedians, and now the show isn't even funny anymore.

it's stupid
so help me, the funniest moments on those shows i watched WERE provided by hillary and mike huckabee. when the politicians are WAY funnier than the comedians, it's time to worry... hey doc, you do cartoons. did you by any chance see the cartoon today with the little baby in the womb, surrounded by an umbilical cord with obama's wouldn't-punish-with-a-baby quote? (pretty funny).
(but pretty creepy, too)...

The original cast was incredible. Not every sketch was a hit, but most were, and they more than made up for the flops. Even "Franken and Davis" short films (yes, THAT Franken) were not awful.
The second cast was passable, if not incredible. But there was enough talent I usually watched.
After that, it has just been a rapid downward slide in quality.
I don't think I have watched it 25 times in the past decade. Yet, even that small exposure was enough to convince me I was missing nothing. (That and the few clips I have seen elsewhere, that do nothing to make me want to resume watching.)
Though I do have a soft spot for McCain's Streisand impression. I even linked it on my election commentary on my blog.
