Too Funny!

But, you know. In some strange way , some of it could happen

Thanks for visiting this blog

I still have a soft spot in my heart for this blog - it is the first one I started. Now that Pesky Truth is getting some views, I wish I could get more folks to read this one. I've got some new stuff to update it with but hasn't seemed to be worth the effort. What's your opinion? Is the name too screwball? Any suggestions? Thanks again for visiting both blogs, Neo.

have taken the(ir) liberty

Just glancing at your complex predictions made me think of a new word. Imagigration - If you can imagine a reason, you can immigrate here. Like the Mexico part.

Man you must be a glutton for punishment

But thanks for coming here. It was the first thing I wrote and the first post in my blog. It got NO readership (based on comments) but I still like it. I had planned to update it over time but with there being so little interest, I figured what's the use.

Anyway, I thank you for reading my stuff. As you know, we all seek some sort of approval of what we do.

I just arrived.

Haven't read any of the chapters yet but looking forward to them. Whataya mean not worth the effort. I don't read the funny papers. I read your stuff. I'm your one ald lady cheering section. I even email your stuff out and you have admirers that you're not even aware of. So there. Keep up the good work and you'll get more readers.

Oh, by the way, I forwarded your serious post about Burris to Rush, a bunch of my friends, to my newspaper, etc.

Bobbie , thanks for your support!

What I meant was that with no (current) way to count “views,” the only way that we’re sure that someone read a post is when they leave a comment. When I initially posted this (very long) piece, it generated so few comments that I questioned the value of posting it – I would have still written it – writing it was a “labor of love.” But, posting all of the chapters as individual posts is a pain in the rump. I understand that not everyone will like it and that’s ok. I think that there are some who aren’t interested in satire, and others that simply won’t read anything that is lengthy. I can dig it. I’d just like some minimal return on my investment.

I’ve been told that “someday” we’ll get a count of views – apparently TH had that some time ago and then stopped supporting it in later versions of the software. Chris said that the reintroduction of a view count is “on their list” of things to do – so maybe … some day???

Anyway, I do sincerely appreciate your support. I am also reassured to know that there is someone else with as warped a sense of humor as my own.

All this series needs is some wild Mozart in the background and Harpo honking his horn. No, I mean the metal one with the squeeze bulb.

Great, GREAT sense of association and the anachronisms are perfectly done. I can't figure why I never saw them before.

I am also updating and reposting some of my first blogs, and delete the ealier post so as not duplicate.

Keep 'em coming!

Glenn

Appreciate the kind words, Glenn

What a concept! A "soundtrack" of Mozart and Harpo Marx's horn! It would be fitting!

I see that you haven't posted anything yet this year? Workin' on something special?

I wonder

If we opened up a liberals brain and investigated, would we find anything good, or have they been so emotionally charged that "redemption" is an oversight?

great posts!

Eric, thanks for visiting this site

It is one of my favorites but has had only limited views - don't know why? Anyway, I intended to update the site from time to time but there hasn't been enough activity to justify spending more time on it. Anyway, many thanks for stopping by!
