The Awakening: Chapter 2

I don't like waiting for anybody. The way our society is today I don't think non-violence will achieve much. The enemy within and without appears to be manipulating laws and our vocabulary to get what they want. Everything is a RIGHT now. I don't know when but at some point in our country's future there will be another civil war. This may sound extreme but I can't see any way to avoid it. At some point talking will cease. With the amount of information available today people still deny fact. They only look for what supports their ideology no matter how asinine. Anyone that steps forward with a strong belief will be ridiculed and disregarded. People want to feel good. Conflict, even just verbal, makes people very uncomfortable. I have a hard time believing that our country's founders would not be astonished at what we have done with their efforts.
