I suspect that before Bush leaves office..and probably significantly before...there will be an attack on Iran.

for two reasons.

1. I don't think Bush will leave this for another adminstration...for all my complaints about Bush he doesnt strike me as someone unwilling to make tough decisions and I just don;t think he will push it off for the next guy.

2. He won't want to undermine republican plans to hold teh white house in 08 an dthe closer to 08 it coms the more chance it has of disrupting election plans for the GOP.

My guess is in the next year.

I believe these are the much talked about "war games" that the U.S. has led throughout the region. I've only seen reports in the foreign press and in security reports.
