Time to Throw our Shoes at Congress, So to Speak...

Hey, Sheila! Guess what? I read at American Thinker that Congress has voted themselves a raise of $4,700! GOP or Dems, I don`t care! They are all selfish, power hungry leeches! None of them could hold a job in the private sector. There are not enough inflamatory words to describe the disgust I have for these people! Throwing shoes at them is a great idea until we can all unite to throw them out of office. Another heartwarming thought, William Cold Cash Jefferson qualifies for a $48,000 pension .... Aggggghhhhh!

Santa doesn't make wishes come true, he has his elves manufacture things so that he may deliver them to the proper address; he's a glorified mailman (sidenote: just like a government employee, he doesn't understand how to make money).

What to ask from Santa would be a copy of The Constitution of the United States delivered to every government employee along with tutorial help from Justice Scalia!

Yes it seems the elite class can rule us serfs and set their own pay grade, retirement and health benefits, accept contributions from gov. organizationa that are going in the tank, while raising our taxes to continue their corrupt life style.

At this rate we will be as corrupt as all the other third world countries around the globe. Pretty sick...

As long as their constituents are dumbed down voters, due to the dumbing down of America's kids, we are sunk. Ignorance is a very expensive comodity...

When we get into the "throw everyone out" mode, we get a democrat majority everytime, have you noticed?

What I have always advocated is work from a majority, get rid of the bad apples, and add to our conservative numbers in the states that vote conservative. We can't control what the more liberal states do...

Our challenge is, that when we throw everyone out the dems keep re-electing their corrupt elites. We gave up a majority over a few bad apples, and we just keep shooting ourselves in the foot...

I think we're in for a long liberal majority, and we will soon find out if we have the ability to keep them in check.

We need to reward the good folks by keeping them in office, and boot the bad guys out, not throw the baby out with the bath water like we've been doing...;)

They haven't exactly voted themselves a raise, it's a little something that kicks in "automatically". It's a little ploy that was started a few years back. Unless enough in Congress take action to stop it, it just goes into effect all by its little lonesome, no harm no foul. Man, I wish I got an automatic raise every year even though I'm a total screwup at my job. What a gig! And these boneheads have the gonads to tell the auto exec's they're being greedy. GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK!!! Is that what they mean when they say it's like the pot calling the kettle black?

Right on! Sure I am SUPER po`d right now and I am wallowing in it! Go, dawndawn! Sheila, you are correct that we must work for a majority but first, we must find strong conservative candidates who will not FOLD! Sarah Palin, Eric Cantor, there are others, but they need to step up!

As an aside, today every liberal`s Princess Sweet Caroline was caught on camera chowing down! Tres gauche! Surely, she must be a novice at politics or just doesn`t give a Rat`s patooty and will put the fork to her mouth at every press covered opportunity! Not her mother`s daughter so to speak. Shall I go on .... A long time ago, in the late 70`s or so, Caroline was caught on camera drinking beer out of a bottle in a club! My own mother was appalled (two ps or one?)! Nepotism, cronyism and cold hard cash has ruled since the beginning of time. Princess Caroline will be the Senator from New York. But how will we address her? And why are we so surprised? I will return when I have something to say!

I think that many of these people should be in jail. If they are fired, they need to lose their pension and all of their perks. Cut them off.

As for now, give them $1 a year, not even minimum wage. And clean the house and arrest some of them and off to jail they go.

As for a copy of the Constitution, just go on over to the capitol building and dig through the boxes that are marked for trash. I saw all of the stuff that they are throwing away from Congress on Fox News. It made me sick. The files with staff information (social security numbers, phone numbers, etc.) still on them and not shredded was a real stupid thing. It made me want to pull my hair out.

Some MSNBC commentators were laughing at the fact that there is now a website where you can throw shoes at President Bush. I wonder what the reaction would be if it was Lamont Obama.

The only problem with sending them copies of the Constitution is that it presupposes that they can read with comprehension, and the evidence appears to be to the contrary.
