I remember years ago...
...in the '90s, National Review published an article about the Clintons. They had a breakdown of their actions and comparing them to how "the Mafia" operates. One example: when the Mafia brings in a new member, they immediately have them break the law so that they are not exactly "clean." When alGore was chosen to run with Billy, the sent him to "raise" funds from the monks in California.
Interesting stuff....

No matter how deep you dig, there is always more. It's the ease of finding this stuff that is disturbing. Sometimes it feels like everyone is looting the system because they know it is all over and they are going to loot everything they can before they leave. Here in CA, it seems like every chief law enforcement officer is under indictment or investigation. It is an equal opportunity process for "both" parties. In Orange County, there is not a single Republican calling for Republican Police Chief Corona to resign although he is under indictment for at least 8 atrocious felonies. Same in LA with Democrat Delgadillo.

I just answered you over at Phil's, Nee.
Bottom line: at least Hillary's running in the proper party. The Dems, known for corruption and scandals.
Giuliani's running in the WRONG party.

You would have an aneurism if you checked out Rudy's past, including his involvement with Bracewell-Giuliani. And have people forgotten the McCain part of the Keating Five? And although it is legal, it is ethical to pay a candidate like Obama millions in advance money for a book that cannot possibly sell enough copies to cover it? And Edwards' lucrative part-time employment at the hedge fund specializing in subprime debt products. Legal but is it a bribe? This election is turning into a stampede of thieves. Yet the two most likable and honest candidates, Mitt and Fred, are the ones who keep getting smeared.

Guys
C'now, I am not, nor will I ever vote Rudy or Hilary. I was only stating an opinion in relation to power lust. I may not know everything about Gooey, but I do know that he is not my guy.
Phil, Did you see the article on Fred and the plane he was using? The owner was a drug runner or something, had some prior convictions it sounds like...yet, as you said, Hooey's Chinese connections go unchecked.

Apathy? Blindness?
I thought it was common knowledge that Hill was a crook at the very least, yet you still have people doing Hillary Pray-a-thons to get her elected! She gets a standing ovation on Oprah, has all these fans somewere out there (no one I know personally)...
Is it that nobody cares about morals or ethics anymore unless it is to attack conservatives? Even when everybody knew Bill Clinton had lied under oath, intimidated witnesses, obstructed justice, etc (not to mention the adultery), it was no big deal to much of America.
It's so sad that no one expects decent behavior out of our elected leaders. I mean, if Ted K can leave a girl to die as he rushes to create an alibi to save his own arse, can become a highly prominent senator...
Really, you NEED to be immoral and have a proven record of corruption to win the Democratic vote! (Look at some of their heroes: Che, Charles Manson, Larry Flynt...)

ABETTO: A Blind Eye To The Obvious

How much can Media Matters(et al) have to do with it, I wonder? Their tried and true "move on" line seems to have stuck and worked. But they'll be reminiscing about Bush's reserve status for years. No bias there, a`t-all.

hello PD
I've seen or heard most of this stuff before. Greenburg in SC, and R. Emmet Terrel and Dick Morris have covered it. The press, instead of doing its job and providing real news, marvels at how good the Clintons specifically, and Dems in general, spin there ways out of a jam. It is a big game to them.
