Hahahaaha!!!

And the COW would like to adapt Billy Jeffs econ policies...If I write him a letter you think he'll tell me how that's gonna work?
PS Am I actually first?

Hahahahahaha! (to echo Nee)

April 15, 2010. Something to do on a boring day in LA (if there is such a thing)

BrianR walks onto the sales lot of the Big Three automaker's dealership, and watches the tumbleweeds blow across the devastated and vacant property, now inhabited by hopeless junkies and brain-dead homeless winos.

Nodding in approval, he hops behind the wheel of his "assembled in America" Nissan high performance sports car purchased with the tax savings he realized when the "auto industry bailout" failed in Congress a couple of years ago.

He sees a faded pair of "lawyer shoes" soaking in the gutter at the side of the road as he zooms away, and chuckles at the radio news report of yet another Colorado physician having a panic attack while stuck in the long lines at K-Mart.

Seeing the resurgence of conservatism as guided by Michael Steele as RNC Chairman, and the plunging popularity of Barrack Obama, he's secure in the knowledge that history is about to repeat itself once again (tip o' the hat to Yogi).

Life is good.

K-mart?

K-MART?

Have you just met me, newbie?

K-Mart, Wal-Mart

It's all the same to me.

Hay, Nee...

...would "COW" be "Commander of Whitey[?]"

I thought....

..on boring days in LA you went to Your "hair stylist."

Nah, Jimmy Jam Apple

On boring days I go to the range and snap off a few rounds reminding me of blowing the crowns off the heads of the VC.

Funny how their needs for haircuts declined drastically....

I should contemplate that...

...before My next test drive....Test drive/Target practice...there's got to be a funny post there somewhere....

Sarge....

Good! We shall then add, "ON ANOTHER BORING DAY IN VIRGINIA April, 15, 2010...."

good ideas

I think I'll load the dog in the Ford Flex and take him to the Vet on that day...

btw- if I find that any service person has voted for Obama I'm letting them know that I gave their tip to a less fortunate person so that said person will have a chance to climb the ladder too.

As I Understand it

We're giving $25 Billion to three companies with a total market capitalization of about $9 Billion. I see fuzzy math is now back in vogue. Much, much cheaper to let them go Chapter 11 and finally give the UAW their turn over the barrel.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

That is one of the best blogs I have read in a long long time!

Adds quite a bit more reality to the situation.

Great collaborative work shining and jimmy!!!! (and wonderful addition BrianR)

AmStHt

Thanks for the compliments......except don't try to suck up to Brian on this site.........I'm guessing you haven't heard the story about Brian's pink shirts yet. ?? Ask him about his dog.

(laughing)

Scarlet

I like the tip idea. I saw one of those circulating emails, supposedly written from perspective of small business owner.

He's saying he's going to have to lay off some folks because taxes have gone up so much. And he can't decide who, so he goes out to the parking lot and writes down the names of the workers with Obama stickers on their cars. "They wanted 'Change,' so now I'm gonna give it to them."

Scottie

Good to see you round these parts again....nice that you found us here.

Please don't say "we're giving....." Are we really giving yet? I haven't heard it's definite....I'm putting my hands over my eyes and hoping really hard it will not happen.

After Jan 21, I guess it's Free Handout Day.

SC

I'll be sure to ask him :)

And I don't suck up! haha! BrianR and I haev openly disagreed before. We at least respect one another's views tho!

If I owned a business

I would've told my 20 employees:

If Obama wins, I'm going to fire four of you.

If McCain wins, I'm going to fire two of you.

Welcome American Sweetheart...

....terrific handle.

You say "collaborative," well, the work has been about 80/20. I'm not keeping score, I'm just saying.

Uhm, Scarlet P....

...after electing Obama, who will be able to afford tipping? Or any service industry. The "service" industry should have realized that they were voting themselves out of employment, assuming that they voted for Obama.

Hay Scottie....

....how much longer before We bailout ol' Bessie?...I hear she's run up quite a tab on sasparillas at some joint.

Hilarious...

They just don't understand that Americans are fed up with this, do they? I believe my Volvo aka Ford guy voted Obama, but he was the only one in the dealership who did. I may have to tell him that I need a new salesman! HA!

I'm rolling!!

very well written and smart!!keep it up!!

str8, with their hands out...

...are You really surprised for whom he voted?

And Thank You for the comment.

crossbow.....

...Yer too nice. Thank You.

Come by frequently because there will be more.

Y'all done good

I used to say that if I hit a lotto, I'd tell the wife to go to the nearby GM dealerships and trade her vehicle in for whatever she wanted from them, but now I'm thinking Hyundai, Honda, Acura, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan, Volvo, KIA (I know...a Sailor driving a "Killed In Action"???), Porsche, VW...anything but the Big 3 (of course, we wouldn't have been considering anything by FORD anyway).

Y'all might see

a mention of this column in Tuesday's The Weekly Claw.

I think....

...Toyota pick-ups are manufacture or assembled in America.

And what do You mean "might[?]"

Toyota trucks

are made here, but that would be a de facto endorsement of Toyota Racing. When it comes to NASCAR, its Chevy or nothing!

crossbow

Thanks a lot for the compliments.

(You too, Crawfish...)
It's funny, you're a loyal Chevy guy.
My dad's a loyal Ford guy.
I don't get it.....

I'm a loyal Cadillac guy. I get that. It's an American tradition.

SC, Ford

Every Ford product that my family has ever owned was a lemon. We've never been disappointed with a GM product, but the best vehicles we've had have been Hondas and my wife's Hyundai.

Me and My Family....

....has had great experiences with Ford....great reliable autos with miles and miles and miles.....

Crawfish...

I have to agree with the statement about Hondas. I have owned several (civics, civic del sol, accord) and have put several hundred thousand miles on each without ever a problem.

I like my Cadillac, for sure.
But, I had a subaru for a while that was an awesome car. I'm waiting to see how this Cadillac compares with the Subaru in the snow. It will be a fierce battle.

okay

we need a new post 'round here! Hop to!

Okay, guys

Time to update the stories. Ford didn't take the bailout bucks, but Chrysler and GM are going into bankruptcy.
