The Revolution Question

To revolt, or not to revolt? That is the question. One must wonder if the time to revolt is now, because the mechanisms of tyranny have been rather firmly put in place. Or is the time to revolt a natural flow that will happen in the future, when it will seem somehow obvious that rebellion is needed? And yet again, we must ask ourselves, if the need for rebellion becomes obvious, will it only seem so because we'll have already lost the opportunity?

I have to surmise that revolution must be in some sense be premature if it is to succeed, which sadly damns you to villainy in the history books if you fail.
