DID YOU REMEMBER YOUR PRESIDENT ON VALENTINE'S DAY/

I remember my president everyday

Ray!
You know I love you and I clicked into your blog because I wanted to tell you I did some private eyeing years ago so was intrigued to learn you had too.

Then, I found your health musings which, while I’m sad for what you’re going through, I am encouraged to learn you are still plugging along. Hooray and many more positive reports,

But, Ray, where you have topped yourself is in comments about Eugene Kane’s Valentine to Obama.
How I wish you too were feeling all the euphoria and joy I’ve been feeling for over a month; actually since November 5th.
In fact I spent this weekend in DC, including about 30 minutes backstage with B.B. King and was so moved by his joy in a dream he never dared to dream, come true.

Well, Ray, this ol’ Tosa girl believes Mr. Obama is one young man who may be capable of miracles. But I do not believe miracles happen overnight or in 100 days or even, gawd forbid, in eight years.
I am so full of faith that plugging along at my advanced age comes with a genuine spring in my step and song in my heart. Yup! Lots is coming up roses, Ray. Wish you could join the enjoyment.

BTW: business is hanging on by my toe nails, savings gone, property under water and I’ll likely be around for the 75th reunion!

Best,
Edith Wagner
