Quite interesting. 1) Again,we see the founders belief that HONORABLE people would be seeking, and holding, office, not the self-important,aggrandizing twits we seem to be getting ever-more of. As wise as these men were, they STILL did not have foresight.2)C'mon,CK,lawyers and COMMON SENSE in the same sentence? lol. The name of their game is win,and the prize is power. 3) Absolutely right. While many in Congress THINK they understand the Constitution,it is painfully obvious they have NO CLUE about the Federalist Papers role in creating the Constitution. They DO go hand in hand.4) As to this ACORN mess,if civics classes were to be taught AS IT USED TO BE in our schools, there would be NO WAY an ACORN-type organization would exist,IMHO.5) Again, agree. Those who proclaim THEY CAN see into the future more often than not are exposed for the frauds they are.6)It is BY DESIGN the law has become so complicated. Look at the make-up of our representatives today. We have discussed this, and it is dangerous. Personally,I wish more people WOULD have to educate themselves about law. There wouldn't be this much crap going on if there were more who KNEW what was going on.cont'd

cont'd 7) I think this is one area where Obama is wearing out his welcome. With him tossing all this money at the states, then setting the rules,he is in FLAGRANT violation of the 10th Amendment. These governors would be wise to start filing some lawsuits with the 10th as a basis. On the other hand, however,we have NITWITS like this one here in Michirut, who, and this is a quote, said "Any GOP governor who does not want to take these federal dollars,I'll be the FIRST ONE in line to take them". My God,we will not be rid of her soon enough. Here is another sterling example of a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance. I SERIOUSLY doubt she has ANY working knowledge of the F.P.,let alone the Constitution.
8) Oh,they understand alright. These types DESPISE the Constitution being written as it was.
Puts TOO many constraints on their plans. Look no further than this quote from Dear Leader himself. This is from a radio interview in Chicago in 2001." As radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court,it was not that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution..generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can't do to you, what the federal government can't do to you,but it doesn't say what the federal or state government must do on your behalf". This statement ALONE makes it as plain as day he gets it alright. He just don't like it. How can he be true to an oath to uphold and defend the VERY thing he has an obvious contempt for? Impossible,IMHO.

I guess asking lawyers to use common sense was a bit harsh lol.
It is reasonable to believe they intentionally complicate the laws. It helps them create unseen loopholes for themselves much of the time I think. It also also them to write a law against someone without them knowing it. I remember some supreme court justice(current I believe) saying that writing in latin was better because he could be more precise. I find that hard to believe. I can't think of anything lawful that I cannot describe in a clear and concise way in english.
She'll line up to take them haha. Well, with Obama and his czars running the car industry:
"Were we directed from Washington when to sow, and when to reap, we should soon want bread."
-Thomas Jefferson, Autobiography, 1821
I remember hearing something about that. I think he also went on to say that the Constitution gets in the way of some of the things he wants to accomplish. I believe that was in the same interview.
