Good piece,anymore if the Weather Channel says it's raining,I look out to make sure. Seems like these larger media outlets would think about the HUGE slide in readers,viewers,etc.over the last,say 5 to 10 years. He7l,even the LOCAL news casts can't get it right a lot of times. Sure glad I talked the Old Man into dumping NYT stock when we did. Sold off ALL the media holdings we had, talked the wife out of donating to NPR,and PBS,so I am trying to do my small part to get a sense of balance back.

Been super busy but will try to get over there.

NYT stoock is plummeting and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of anal pores.

Communist Carter (following the examples of homosexuals who masqueraded as Christians to obtain the title of "Priest" (with hopes that they would have easy access to male children)) masqueraded as a "Baptist constitutionalist" with hopes that he would obtain the title/position of "President" which then would "open the gates" for his efforts to promote (and defend) socialist fascistism(satanism). Like all rich liberals, he promotes the butchering of American constitutionalists while going to extremes to defend anti-constitutionalists.

Could be wrong but I believe that libs* use this false statement to convince "air-heads" that anyting NOT left-wing extremist is right-wing extreme.

I've been reading some of the customer reviews for Michael Bellesiles' book on Amazon.com. I think that the Liberal reviewers are absolutely hilarious. Even after the guy was proven to be a fraud they still give him 5 stars. So far the funniest review said, "A well-written, very thorough, debate-provoking book, February 19, 2005

Michael Bellesiles has been unfairly criticized, I believe, apparently for political purposes. I find it difficult to believe that most of his critics have taken the time to read the book. I read it for myself and found the book to be a thorough account of the history of gun use. I didn't find the book to advocate any policital position. It's simply one of the best written historical accounts I have read."

This is like someone saying that Mike Nifong was just a victim of the VRWC, or listening to Dan Blather go on about ho9w the "documents may be fake, but the story is true."

Liberals are constantly referring to Foxnews as Fauxnews, and claiming that O'reilly and Hannity among others are a bunch of liars, but it's amazing how it's only Liberals in th media that are actually caught lying.

"One thing you will notice with all the 1-star reviews on this site by pro-gunners (the NRA has clearly rallied its forces again) is that they attack Bellesiles character, but almost none of them use any evidence of their own to refute his basic thesis.

Clearly, the debate itself scares them more than the author. Hopefully, intelligent readers to whom "academic" is not a dirty word will feel free to make up their own minds."

Last time I checked, we don't get "certificates" to fly either F/W or R/W aircraft we get qualifications. I have never heard of getting a "certificate" when one is transitioning from one aviation community to another.

Additionally, if you are transitioning from one airframe to another or from one aviation community to another you have to go through the Replacement Air Group (RAG) squadrons which are only back stateside. We don't have any training sqadrons over here in Iraq and they wouldn't send someone "...practicing for my helo certification" over here to go on "patrol". As a former Instructor Pilot (IP) in a training squadron, I've NEVER heard anyone refer to any part of their aviation training as "praticing" for their "certification".

Just another GOTCHA mooment for ol' Roberto. Those of us with REAL aviation experience (even me as a peon maintainer) catch him in his lies all the time. What a moore-on.

I had forgotten about Gary Webb. He was a real liar and loser. Although I don't wish for anyone's death, the country is better off now that he is gone. (You have to wonder if he committed suicide because of his lies or because he was mentally off.)

"Certificates" are germane to the civilian fying world. It is possible he has civilian ratings which to the uninitiated would be enough to say about flying to seem plausible. My pilots license is referred to as a "Certificate" by the FAA, so that is where the useage of the term MAY have originated. Still outs him as a fraud though.

I think I said this somewhere on another post. The prize in the Cracker Jack's box has more value than the Nobel Prize. They just keep giving it out anyway an someone is supposed to be impressed. I haven't met anyone lately that is. But they will fight you for the Cracker Jack prize.

If memory serves me right, Clayton Cramer challenged him to a debate and he refused. Like The Goreacle refusing to debate gloBULL warming.
