A Call to Arms

I'm reporting to duty, sir.

I think this is a very viable plan if we can get enough folks off their duffs and on their feet. I'm so glad to see an actual "Plan" for action. Preaching to the choir keeps us all stirred up, but accomplishes little else. It's so long past due to DO something that will make a difference. Thank you for presenting this great possibility.

AfterShock has a good one up on the theivery that we endure at the Government's hand; the tyranny of taxes. We might make note of the "reprobates" who've never seen a tax they didn't love. (and voted for)

Great idea, G92.

Tanks Bobbie

It remains to be seen how many will "step up." I'm mighty afraid that we'll find lots of talk and little action. I'm going to work towards sending the final list and description of the plan for the We're Watching You group to Glenn Beck and some other talk show hosts. We need numbers to make this work and our TH group is just not strong enough to make this work by itself.

Garnet

This is a grand idea. Have you come upwit the first ten yet?

I will check into the law regarding donations for candidates in states different from where one lives. Let you know soon.

Glenn

Garnet: Tactical Research Is Important

Since 2006 and 2008, many Democrats were elected (especially in the South) in districts which are predominately Conservative.

I will start checking the demographics.

Good Idea!

This site shows targeted Democrats and how their districts voted for the Presidency in 2004 and 2008:

http://campaigndiaries.com/2009/02/13/the-whos-who-of-vulne rable-democrats/

I also use http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ to see the latest poll numbers. If there are multiple polls in a district they average them.

I can keep an eye on this site and relay poll numbers on races. Let me know what else I can do to help.

Thanks Glenn

I don't know the legalities, but I can't imagine that there is a prohibition of a U.S. citizen contributing to a candidate in another district or state? Please do let me know of your findings.

Thanks Gray

I already have a couple of sources for that info, if you're interested in being a part of "We're Watching You," let me know and I'll contact you via e-mail.

Good site, Patrick

I had most of that info already and most of the same guys, but knowing that the RNCC is targeting those 30 is really helpful. As I told Gray Ghost, if you're interested in helping, post another comment or send me an e-mail. Thanks, G92

Garnet

Yes I am. You have my email address thru Bobbie. Contact me. I will so contact you.

an eye on the enemy

is a wise eye to keep open

Garnet

There are no laws prohibiting donations across state borders. The only limitation is $2400 to any single candidate.

Senators Boxer and Feinstein, both from CA, both Deficrats, are far left. They support Cap and Tax, gov't run health care, a stronger UN, a weaker military, and almost anything Obama says.

Cindy Sheehan, who camped outside the Bush Ranch, is running for Pelosi's seat in Congress. We really need a Republican from CA.

Gotcha Gray

I have sent you stuff - let me know of your thoughts.

Thanks Glenn

But my objective is to work towards intimidating rookie democrats into voting AGAINST Obamacare and other anti-American issues. At the same time, I will work towards replacing those dems with Republicans.

I am gathering information on the "low hanging fruit" theory of dumping the dems that will be easiest to replace.

Agree Gar

Most of my waking hours are being spent on following my "enemies," namely liberal democrats who will vote along with Nancy and saddle us with more spending we can't afford for a "health" plan that is worse than the current methods. We could fix current plans cheaper and easier than inflicting Obama's Socialistic plan.

Garnet

Gotcha. I was a bit off track there, but am clear as a bell now.

What can I do to help? I'm at my PC 18+ hours a day.

Glenn

Good plan

I'm usually upto my ears in work, but keep me posted and se if I can help.

Garnet

Happy to assist. Bobbie has my email address.

I need

specific assignments in order to optimize my limited time online. Please advise via email address (Bobbie has new one) what you want me to research. I am currently taking on Virginia and the issue of drilling.

Sorry it's been some time since I visited. Life gets crazy periodically and this past summer and early fall has been that time for me.

I volunteer, garnet92, (That's what we

do here in Tennessee) to write letters to editors in districts where you identify targets. My research and study on the subject of affecting elected officials' behavior suggests that the operative word is "PRESSURE".

Pressure comes from (a) high-profile citizens, (b) mass-media outlets, (c) blocks of voters, and (d)money for or against. My track record vis-a-vis your agenda is awful, garnet92, so I'll try to stay away from leading or organizing.

Good idea, G92

I'm with you, but only have a few hours a day at my computer. Still, will be happy to do what I can to support. Am already contributing to "opposing" candidates to the degree that I can.

Garnet

I live in one of the FEW red districts in MD. It was lost in 2008, but we have a GREAT chance to take it back in 2010. I'll get back when we have a FIRM candidate.

Senator Blanche Lincoln (D),

Arkansas; Senator Mary Landrieux (D), Louisiana; Senator Ben Nelson (D), Nebraska.

Right Glenn

I will contact you via e-mail from Bobbie's list.

Will do, Joe

We probably have the manpower we need to finish the list, but when that's done, we'll all have to get the word out.

Right INTHENOW

I've already sent you an e-mail.

Mrs. AL - thanks for volunteering

I've already sent you an e-mail.

drpete, if you want to compose

some boilerplate letters to be distributed to local media, please do so. I'll send you an e-mail so we can correspond directly. Thanks.

Gotcha Chuck

You should have already received an e-mail.

Georgetwin, my guess would be

Maryland's 1st district, one of two heavily Repub districts, but the other (6th) has a Repub representative - right?

I'll be moving back home

to Ft Worth, TX, in February. I'll start getting hooked into that scene at that point. Where I am right now, I can't do much except be a burr in the saddle of Rep. Patrick Murphy. The address that I live at up here is in his district, and I'm not tellin' him that I'm just renting here...

A Call To Arms

Fantastic idea and the time is now, Garnet! Many, many repubs are starting to sweat because the TEA Parties are out there, organizing and putting forward their own candidates! They are STUNNED! Only took two election cycles.

I love to write cheeky letters (a la the poison pen). As an expat from Washington state, there is a whole mess up there that should be replaced. And I do believe Glenn Beck will be very receptive to the grass roots effort! Let me know what I can do. I am retired so have no schedule.

Thanks Dawn

I will contact you shortly - some "cheeky" letters might be in order.
