Grammy awards turn into political paybacks

As a former producer and writer...

formely [loosely] affilated withthe Academy, I can say it isn't what it used to be. The Grammy Awards were the pinnicle, the AMA'a and MTV were the the democratized version for the people. They chimed in because it will prpbably be their swan song, their album isn't selling. So the nutter crowd chimed in with their "blessing" Here is a blog that was interesting on the deviation of a topic on the police playing that turned down a dark street when the topic of the Dixie Chix came up there is one response.

"...Only nutters care about the Dixie Chicks... they are waste of airspace and no one invited the comment on them. This was the social engineers on the left chance to [and you obviously got their twisted invitation] think that they were somehow sending a message by lashivshing the unpatriotic, assinine trio of dim-witted,bottle tinted, trailer-crats their top honor... for that -- another notch in the nutter belt for the academy. They obviously went for the style points this year!

I have to say... that pretty much said it all right there.
