Wins in Georgia & Louisiana the Revolution gains steam!!

once in a while

I'm surprised by the unexpected, and this was. Hooray for the good guys, I can hardly believe it Snow Knight!

Chalk one up for us.

Every win lifts our spirits. Guess La likes Bobby Jindal's take on things and decided to back him up with a like-minded representative in their state. Good for them.......Good for us.

Good work, Snow.

And NOW the crap hits the fan in Chitown

Blagojevich arrested today, Rezko, and connections with the Obamas still under investigation. Justice? Who knows, it's Chicago.

Surprised

I have to admit that I was surprised that he lost. I thought that they would vote him back in. I was happy that he did not win his 10th term.

And finally, he will get his trial. Interesting how Stevens was indictd, tried and convicted from July 2008 - October 2008. And this Jefferson thing has been going on for years. What's money in the freezer? Some money laundering and doing business out of your office to Africa! No worries. Nothing to see here.

Now aren't some of his family in his jail on other charges. I think the daughter went to jail or got a plea deal. What a rocking family!

Revolution gains steam!

RIGHT ON!!! YEAH our side! and look what happened today - The DEM Gov of IL arrested !! and he has links to REZKO. Who knows how far the investigation will go!

Dave

yeah!!and the news of this joker putting up Obamas seat????what are they thinking???

Bobbie

Thanks!!I am still kinda the new kid on the block here but I am learning fast!!and there is so much to write about!!This latest circus in Illinois makes it easy!!

Bob's nephew

U got it -like I just told Bobbie the latest circus about Obamas seat is plenty to write about!I am sure there will be more!!!!!be strong and good courage.

Sue

Yeah- I read that Joesph Cao is a moderate-anti-abortion. I t will be very interesting in congress!!!I thanks!!!!!!

Kevin

Hey! power went out earlier!sorry so late in repling!!Yes-It is gonna get very interesting in the days ahead--the dems think we are stinky---well they are gonna see how "stinky"!

snow knight

Where are we in Minnesota? Does Coleman still have the lead?

I still can not believe that Franken got so many votes! What were those people thinking? I don't live in Minnesota, but really, like he is the best they could come up with!

Jefferson better finally go to trial in January! I know, he is innocent too! He keeps saying that. I guess that money in the freezer is common. I defrost my millions every Sunday after dinner and count it myself!

Sue

so far it is pretty much up for grabs-but with al-fraken-stien there anything can happen--just look at the snafu the Illinois gov. has!!!

Snow. La. still sings Loony Tunes hits

Bag time Joes still own New Orleans. Last time i was there the "businessmen" still owned the hotel.

I love the place, but I do not expect it to change. I must find my DVD of Paul Newman's "Blaze." Lolita Davidovitch plays Blaze Starr, the Louisana country girl stripper, with such revealing conviction. (Unfortunately, I never heard from her again.)

My point here is that La. can only be understood in bits and pieces. Blaze Starr and Newman, as an all too familiar governor, capture the essence of the region, if only for a fleeting glimpse. You simply cannot find a "whole" or a consistency of character. We can only wish and hope.

I wonder if you can still get Hurricanes at Pat O'Briens. They were genuine! One quart of grapefruit juice mixed with an assortment of Whoooopeee!

Klem

I went to NO in '03 with my wife. Had a wonderful time, stayed in the Quarter. Yes, we got a Hurricane at Pat O's. Larrupin!! And my head was spinning on my shoulders. I went back a couple months after Katrina with some of my church buds to do demo work for charity. Things were already on the mend business wise, and the Quarter did not get much damage or flooding. I'm pretty sure Pat O's survived.
Just looked at the website. It's good.

snow knight

I heard that they found some absentee ballots again. Really, where do they put these things? In the trunks of cars, oh wait they did that. I just wish that they would declare a winner and I don't mean Franken!

Klem

LOL!!for real!! Welcome aboard! I have read your comments on other blogs and you really know your stuff!!Yes, we can wish and hope--and vote! I wonder how Minnisota will turn out.

Sue

I heard they are finding many in dumpsters! Whatta world. I feel no matter who gets the vote ole Freanken-stien will pull a Al Gore with the courts--bank on it.

Bob's nephew

I never visited NO- I'll just stay in good ole North carolina!!

BMU: Two things changed my life...

The first was the Watts Riots.

The second was that first Hurricane at Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans.

Snow: Thanks for the invite...

Good company is in short supply these days.

A Light Appears!

This was a surprise and very good news, indeed, for those of us on the right! So much still needs to be done to "clean up" Congress and government on both sides of the aisle. Billy Cold Cash Jefferson will still receive his almost $48,000 a year pension. Unbelievable! And in Chicago, Blago refuses to resign and Rezko is singing like a canary choir! present-elect amabO continues to get a pass! Only in America .... Good blog, Snow Knight!

SK

good post-I wonder if Obama expects us to realllly believe that he did not know anything abot "Blogos" mess. Pleasse!looking forward to your post about pearl harbor/911 let's ROLL.

Klem

so right!Hey the townhall family is great--we have a few lib bloggers here but it is easy to see them as they write. All you need to do is look for the fog.

Dawndawn

Thanks!!!the good stuff is out there!!can you believe the "Obammassiah" still says he knows nothing about the ""Blogogate" scandal?? this is amazing.

snow K

new post up for me :)

I don't know how much more of the election in Minn that I can stand.

Snow Knight, thanks for visiting

Pesky Truth! My son just left New Orleans after living there for the last 10 years - thank God he's moved here to Dallas. My family is from Louisiana and as much as we love what New Orleans used to be - the city has been ruined by corrupt administration for as long as I can remember - Ray Nagin is only the most recent crook. What's really bad is what's happening to the country is following what doomed New Orleans, democrat control, bribes and corruption, a welfare mindset, and rising crime.

But yes, Patty O'Briens is still there and still selling Hurricanes - there is still hope!
G.

Hey SK

There's a little town in NC, up near Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk. You ever ski on Sugar?
That's where some of my family settled before coming to Texas in the 1870's.

Klem, Pat O's Hurricane

didn't change my life, but it WAS a pleasurable distraction. As for Watts riots, glad I wasn't there.

AM Sweet

Yeah, Me 2. I heard on Hannity just today that from the biginning ole-Franken-stein planned to litigate his way into the senate. Never mind "we the people"!!!!I guess he is taking his tips from Al Gore. I will be by shortly!!

Garnet-welcome!

Yes, I am still kinda the "new" kid on the block here! but I'm in the best company!!can you believe the atty gen. of Illinois is calling to have Blogo called unfit??

Bob's Nephew

ME ski?? I'm even afraid of the rolling rink!!!seriosly, I am still new to NC but I am learning my surroundings.

snow

Franken is missing 99% of his brain cells. That says it all.

SK, skiing is fun

and easy. It's like falling down a mountain. I haven't been in over 30 years.
If you get a chance to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, or get up to that part of the state, do it. You won't regret it.

snow knight

Dumpsters, attics, etc....on and on it goes. Amazing how they just keep popping up. Now I have heard that Minnesota has a great election process...blah...blah. I don't live in Minnesota, so I don't really know. But, if their process is so great, how come ballots are appearing and then disappearing? Are they fake? Anybody?

As I have said many times, I still can not believe how many flipping votes Franken got. It is amazing to me.

Snow Knight

We are 3 for 3. And as soon as this nonsense in MN is over we will be 4 for 4. I'm dreaming of a bright 2010. With every blogging post I write doo, doo, doo, doo, May our days be merry and bright, and may all our conservatives lean RIGHT!!!

Okay so I'm no Mrs. Paddy but I tried.

SK

I have another new one up! haha! I've been making up for lost time since I didn't put anything up for like a week!

BMU

only if they fit skis with airbags!!

Sue & MJSJR

Here's hoping in Minn. I would not put anything past Franken-he has more tricks than houdeni.

Snowknight

I am on a International Holocaust rememberence board--I would be honored if you allow me to incude "Joesf"s story. His courage with so many who stood agenst such monsterous evil will strenthen those today who face great oppression from likeminded madness. The people of Israel today face such hate from all sides. The cry goes out lound and strong: NEVER AGAIN"
