Your observations are all right on the money. Liberals are at heart anti-nation state, and thus their love affair with the UN. I am not one of those weirdos looking for black helicopters, but rather a student of history, and just as Marx came to the conclusion that Nations are the problem, so do Liberals, who would instead prefer a nice orderly world controlled by them and their agenda. For a Liberal patriotism is an outdated, dangerous concept, and multiculturalism is their attempt to basically homogenize the world by recognizing, or rather denying, the special qualities of the US which you outlined in your post.They seek to demoralize and sap the country of their will to protect themselves, and are anti-military for this same reason.Liberals truly see themselves as World leaders, not national ones, and that is part of what makes them so scary.
