Comment on: Do One Thing

Dear Senator McCaskill

Another Excellent Letter

My only quibble would be in addressing her. IMHO, she should be referred to as the Dishonorable Claire McClueless. Yeh, so what if it is disrespectful, a sham and a not so very cheap shot!!!! So is she, to openly support abortion on demand and all the sneaky tricks that go along with it. It is high time to call out those who wish to open the doors of genocide with unfettered access to abortion and assisted suicide, which is now legal in three states. Once the avalanche of universal health care is the rule of law, don`t doubt for a moment that our dear, 92 year old uncle may find himself falling asleep for good. Just to clear the universal health care books. If people can destroy the tiniest of human embryos or even those with gestations of six months or more, in the most brutal way, and in less than a blink of an eye, our dear, sweet granny can`t stand a chance with Medicare on the verge of bankruptcy. We must all Just say No to the new eugenics! But don`t expect the esteemed Senator Claire McCaskill to do anything but report for duty to advance the leftist, socialist agenda. For her to think for herself would be stunning.

Dawn

It's difficult to be civil when you're talking about the murder of the innocents. In reality, most on the dark side do not believe in the personhood of unborn humans, either out of ignorance or some barrier that prevents them from seeing the truth. Beating people over the head with inflamatory rhetoric, true though it may be, will have little or no positive outcome in changing their minds or hearts. In fact, the most likely result of incivility will be the termination of debate and exchange of ideas. I'm not saying that there isn't a time for protest marches and civil disobedience for the cause. If a crowd of the size at the President's coronation were to show up in D.C. for the pro-life cause, it might have a profound effect on our legislators and policy. I'm all for that. But IMO effective communication of ideas is enhanced by basic respect and civility.

I am in agreement with you that all sorts of horrific things including euthanasia are gaining respect in the mainstream of thought and that the economics of socialized healthcare will force a triage type atmosphere where the disabled and old folks will not receive necessary care. It's a "Brave New", "1984" world that we live in.

You really meant it

when you said you'd do something every day. Thank you joe. You are a first class citizen.
