Nicely done, sir. While we're at it, since collectivism is the way people want this thing run, why aren't all actual U.S. Citizen taxpayers due a new car "on the house."

I could just upchuck with all this garbage going on.

Thanx for a great post, Jason. Stop by if/when you have time.

Mrs AL

Agreed,

I was thinking of putting exactly that in there.

Well put.

I will stop by soon

Thank you for the comments!!

Jason

Today, Hugh Hewitt had his entire program on the Socialist Govt. Motors Co. and why anyone would buy one of these claptraps . It is a horror that America is losing its auto capabilities. Today, Obama got GM to sell the Hummer to the Chi-Coms. Can you imagine buying a Hummer, if if the CIC allows us to, from the Chi-Coms? My newest blog has something on this too, drop by my friend.

Rackoons

I heard that show....

He made a great point by stating "Do you think that GM has an itrest in selling cars right now"?

When he used that story about his friend that owned the Jerrys Hot Dog chain, and how he was looking to change the menu according to the economy and by customers needs, and looking to branch out to other locations....and always looking for somthing new. That is how Ford is starting to be, and somthing GM is not.

Thank you for passing thru....I will be over soon.

Jason

Obama is doing by FORCE what Carter attempted to do by DECREE.

Thank You for stopping by!!

Yes indeed....The Tiger vs the Timid.
Carter's messes were for the most part correctable over time, The chosen one has put in a spot we may never get out of.

Jason

I can hardly wait to see how this turns out.

I also noticed yesterday that $7.5 billion was given to GMAC. More money. I am surprised Ben had time to go to the Hill today. I wonder who was monitoring our printing presses that run 24/7.

Nice to know we are bailing everything out. I see it is almost a year with the gas prices and now they are rising. Good thing Congress did something about it to help the American people. Excuse me while I got laugh myself silly! :)

Sue

Got that right,

Taxpayer loses in the end no matter what...it seems thatBammaboy and Co are loaded with assistance for all lately.

Thanks for passing thru Sue!!

100% Correct!

This whole Government Motors thing is a fiasco and hopefully it will bring Obama and the Dems down.

Patrick

It has to..

Or were done for good.

Thanks for passing thru!!

The great lib whine

was always 'What's Bush's exit strategy?'

This should be our question, "What is the admin's exit strategy from the banking/bailouts/carownership?' When do we stop the deficit spending and printing of money?

Great post. We deserve answers. We're paying for it.

Beyond Parody

Great blog, as usual, Jason! We only need to look to the UK to see the abolute, total breakdown of govt. Liars, thieves, extortionists! It is all there and in this Ear! The Ear of hopenchange. Next week in the UK, or maybe tomorrow, it will be all over! Almost all of Parliament will resign or be forced to resign! A sad, sorry state of affairs for the people. A very loud bell clanging (and not for the call to prayer!) for those in the US who are not yet drunk on amabOaid.

So sick and sad for what used to be General Motors.

MD/MG

Thanks for passing thru!!

I can not believe no one is demanding that answer. I do not believe they have one...this is no "swift" fix.

dawndawn

Bingo!!

That is the truth!! We are sinking quick without buckets.

Thanks for passing thru!!

They'll demand

an answer, as soon as they are done singing Kumbaya and one trillion dollar bills on the wall.

Re Govt Motor Company

Excellent post Jason! Now that the Govt (ie the democrat PArty) and their stooges and enablers, the Unions, own GM they will try to put Ford out of business. For MUSGT show profits. GM is owned mostly by The Gov and they can under cut Ford as much as it takes

Kev

Thanks for stopping in!!

Gm Will fail...we must back Ford and their products, or it's over.

The Govt must be kept in check on this "swift" fix.

Jason

I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from a company that caves to the leftists.

Guns

Thanks for stopping in!!

Even if they get "De-Nationalized" I wont either.
This is a complete disaster!!

No Ford, either!

a) Every Ford product my family has ever had has been a lemon
b) If I hit a lottery tomorrow, I'd still refuse to buy a product of any UAW-run operation.

Honda, Acura, Hyundai, Nissan...all have plants in the US in the non-union South. (Toyota does as well, but that's what Kyle Busch drives, so NO!)

I'm not positive, but doesn't Volvo have some of their manufacturing here as well?

One thing needs to be screamed by all conservatives whenever there's a microphone or camera nearby...Why did Obama and Geithner spend billions upon billions to keep GM and Chrysler out of bankruptcy for 3 months, only to direct them into bankruptcy? Couldn't that money have been saved by letting bankruptcy happen back in March? More waste of taxpayer money at the behest of the UAW.

Craw

I know....I know...

The cars are bad...the trucks are getting better.

I agree in part, we as Americans need to do a better job in building vehicles. But if Ford Goes away because of this, that is a a shame.

For granted nothing is all made in USA anymore, but at one time Ford, Chrysler and the other GM makes I believe were. I am in favor of Honda, Nissan....anyone but GM right now.

Thank you for your comments and for stopping in!!!

Jason

Just keep printing the money and all will be right with the world.

As for GM, I am bummed. I think the company died. I think they drove the chevy to the levy, but the levy was dry.

And Chrysler, they should just put up the tombstone and call it a day.

By the way, with all of the focus on GM and Chrysler, how is AIG doing with my tax money?
