Did you really say the candidate is chosen by the electorate? Where have you been recently, like the last 8 years? Popular vote vs delegates? If you were interested, which you're not, you could look at super-delegates are doing in the DNC this year..............

Yes, but the electorate choses the delegates. At least they do in the Republican Party. The democrats are more elitist and have delegates selected by power not people.

And, let's not forget the Electoral College, which makes some states more powerful than others.
