Obama KNEW long in advance that the American People were going to be protesting in D.C. on September 12th, this has been one of the best publicized demonstrations next to Farahkan's Million Man March. This is exactly why he chose to run from DC to find a crowd (and adoring State Run Media) that would swoon over him, lick the soles of his shoes, and make it look like something big and magnificent.
As for Sarah Palin, she didn't call me and tell me where she was going to be on Saturday.
That protest was not about politicians getting face time, it was about 'The People', sick and tired of Obama and his socialist hordes and agenda being shoved down Lady Liberty's throat.

If your friends would open their minds and start watching Fox News, not necessarily Glenn Beck, but just Fox News....and read other news websites to get all possible information to make 'sound and unbiased' opinions themselves...they would've known. You saw how little the State Run Media even reported on the demonstration. Look at the numbers B.E.V. supplied as reported by the State Run Media. For goodness sakes....the Brits gave a better overall review of the event than anyone!!
Bringing up Joe Wilson is directly out of the DNC talking points memo for this weekend. It and he, have nothing to do with the demonstration and Obama's reaction to 'The People'.
