Defending our Country
"We are spread so thin that we have too few troops defending America." you say.
The troops in Afghanistan and Iraq ARE defending America; it just so happens that the battlefields on which they fight are not within the borders of the United States, as you would imply they should be.
By fighting and killing Islamic Jihadists overseas, our troops are keeping our people safe from collateral casualties as would happen if they were fighting them in our country.
BTW, Congress has authorized the war every year when they vote to approve continuing funding it. It is splitting hairs to say that Congress has not issued a formal declaration of war with a fancy title on an important looking document. Any time the majority of Congress disapproves of the war, they are free to defund it.

Anything Original?
I see after reading through Ron Paul's website that you have copied word for word what he says. What tipped me off was when you wrote (copied) "I have introduced the Senior Citizens Tax Elimination Act (H.R. 191)..."
I wondered whether you were Ron Paul himself.
I don't really care one way or the other, but if you can do no more than copy what he says, then I can only assume you don't have an original thought in your head, and his mouthpiece.
Don't get me wrong, he has some good ideas, and there's an off chance I might even vote for him, but it's a poor campaign ploy for him to have people go out and echo him rather than use their own words, at least, to argue for his position.
