Arclightzero - I had not checked my blog post and missed your comment. Made a comment after yours -- after my own blog -- but wasn't sure you'd refer back to see it.

Your statistics are truly appalling. Perhaps if it were possible sometime in the future, a law can be passed that one strike and you're out. Then there wouldn't be so many repeat and repeat offenders.

I'm after my state legislators to begin thinking of this. Parole is truly useless. Rehab is not a realistic prospect for these people.

By the way, thanks for puting me on your Blog Roll, which I noticed just now. That's very flattering. I do not believe Post Scripts ... appears on any other Blog Roll. I must do the same. It's one of the ways we get read. And that's why we do what we do here. We want to be persuasive.
