Your letter is certainly well thought out and pithy. Indeed, I will be using a couple of your ideas to incorporate into my letter.

May I make one suggestion? It might be helpful to focus on the unconstitutionality of FOCA and put less emphasis on the abortive process itself. Let's be candid, you are writing to a man who has no regard for human life, so this type of appeal may not lead hin to listen to you.

Thanks for the comments and suggestion. This congressman is totally lost and blind. Nothing short of a change of his heart by God will move him to the pro-life position. I think the only chance we will have to stop this is a filibuster by pro-lifers in the Senate. That will be the thrust of my letter to Senator Kit Bond, our only congressperson on the pro-life side here in Missouri.

Stay on them, they hate the scrutiny.

Gosh, Joe, my husband and I almost moved to Missouri last year. You know, having been born an Iowan I am still amazed at how liberal the midwest really is. (Iowa is much worse, IMO)

Out of the gate, PBHO has closed GITMO, has stopped "torture" of our blood enemies and will soon provide all Miranda rights and embrace those who would cut our throats in a heartbeat into our legal system. It is not surprising he views the tiny, little souls of embryos as anything less than human or life. Elections do have consequences. IMHO, amabO is less than qualified, arrogant to his very core and forever will be the harbinger of the downfall of our culture and civilization as we know it.
