Sir Winston

Thank you very much for your comments following "Churchill Saw It Coming". I'm not quite sure as to your location but all indicators appear to be Her Majesty's GB.
On a personal note let me tell you a quick story.
I had the pleasure of meeting an aide to General Eisenhower and with that postion he had the opportunity to meet Sir Winston. I met him at a family reunion on my wife's side of the family.
She is a direct descendent of John Locke a pre-revolutionary war settler in what is now the New England States. Ike's aide also went by the same name, "John Locke" and he was 99 years of age when we met. We had dinner together and breakfast the following morning. At both of those dining occasions I was very impressed with his recall of the events of the time; escpecially those in London and North Africa.
Less that a year after our tête-à-tête John passed away at his home in California.

Thanks again...please make a visit to the following:

Re: "...Ike's aide also went by the same name, "John Locke" and he was 99 years of age when we met.. should have said went by the name of "Richard Locke". He was also known as "Dick Locke" and may have been a Captain or Major while serving as an aide to General Eisenhower.
Sorry for the mix-up.
