True Minorities Should Reject Gay Rights

Being gay is not a "true minority?" Since it is clearly a mathematical minority, I am left to conclude that you are of the opinion that sexual orientation is a matter of choice. That is the same position taken by Christian fundamentalists.

The science is unambiguous. The PUBLISHED and PEER REVIEWED research and the positions of every health care organization are in accord. Sexual preference is neither choice nor mutable.

That leaves some religious people with a problem. If God says that gay is an abomination then why did he create gay people? Their answer is to assert - in spite of the science - that God did not create gay people any more than he created murderers, rapists or car thieves. Ergo gay is choice. This has even engendered an entire industry of scientific method deniers who seek to prove a falsehood.

Now if one subscribes to the notion that sexual orientation is biological then it seems to follow that they are entitled to certain civil rights.
