Great Post Jennifer

But you really should ignore the polls until the last week, even Rush said that. They are always slanted to the left until that last week and then they have to be more honest so as not to look too far off on election day. So let give your blood pressure and your heart a rest and relax and pray that McCain does well in the debate this week. Possibly, Rezko may give the Feds something good on Obama as he continues to try to plea bargain on his sentence.

thanks

Thanks Dwayne. I need to remind myself that Kerry was the favorite in 2004 also.

The polls would move if Mcain

Attacked Oama's health care plan, which is the conception of socialism in American society. These blind followers in unions do not realize that his proposal passively diminishes their collective bargaining. As BO said everyone that "doesn't like their plan can join the same plan that Senator McCain and I enjoy".
Problems:
1. We taxpayers foot the bill for that one.
2. Health insurance is a free enterprise, the US has 2 national plans Medicare and the Veteran's Administration.
3. His proposal will devastate health insurance companies.
4. As proposed, employers will be encouraged to offer substandard health plans so that employees will opt for the government plan. This is simple business economics.
5. This reduces the labor unions bargaining clout for health benefits, which is always a point of negotiation.
6. The plan infringes on state's rights, since each state legislates their insurance.
7. Health care insurers are both nonprofit and proprietary. Proprietary plans are public entities with stockholders their loss will once again effect the economy. Nonprofits are the generators of health insurance.
8. The financial debacle will impact the economy and employment.
9. The Council on Medical Education (2003) noted a 54% drop in enrollment for primary practice and a similar one for internal medicine. This affects “accessibility”. The current trend leaves fewer providers to meet the demand. The plan favors quantity over quality.
10. It creates a further disparity in healthcare for Medicare and Medicaid recipients.
11. This plan will create astronomical financial and tax burdens for his precious middle class (us).

AND as an FYI,
BO did not come up with the electronic medical record (EMR). It was incorporated into the Medication Error Reduction Act (MERA) in 2001 by a republican congress.
