Borama, an Embarrasment..

The American people are'nt buying the hype either, just look at latest Fox News Poll today, McCain closing to 1 point as of 7/23 in spite of the trip (or may be its BECAUSE of the trip)!

Hey Kev!

You're right...even democrats are thinking the media has gone overboard with the coverage of one candidate, when there are two...

He's taking shots at his own country, while overseas and that is irresponsible as it can be!

He is a disgrace!

And Btw,

The community organizer now wants to re-organize the world...unbelievable... while talking down his own country!

Sheila

The best part is HE believes his own hype now!!! that may just be his down fall... the media acts like all the lackys in the Emperor's new clothes, pretending he is clothed in the riches of wisdome when he aint got nothin there!!

Kev...

"Aint got nothin there"...that sounds like a song!

Now there's a good one for his campaign!

LOL!

I agree.

Last night on the John Gibson show, he was referred to as the "Dalibama." That is quite appropriate since he thinks of himself as the "healer" of the world.

I noticed another interesting thing he said in Berlin. Check out http://www.theminorityreportblog.com/blog/sandra_lea_wise

Sandra

Dalibama...hmmm

I thought he was less charismatic than usual, did you? He was a total dud IMO!

Btw, I'll be over

to the minority report...

Sandra

I couldn't click onto your site...could you check to see why?

Sorry.

I thought that links were automatic. Here goes again:

Oh, well...

It worked ealier, so I don't know what the problem is.

Sandra,

That is weird, because at your place I clicked right onto it...

And Btw,

it was a great blog!

I think it's interesting that a friend of mine who's brother is a dem, feels the media coverage of Borama has been over the top...I was surprised.

He's an embarrassment wherever

he goes. I hope so much that you're right about him not making it. I don't even want to think about it. But I do, and then I get I get kinda sick all over. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Happy blogging,Sheila.

Bobbie...

After listening to Glen Beck tonight talk about the speech, and the meaning of the location where he stood with the evil angel in the background, I'm startig to get the heeby geebies...

he basically is talking about more "fair" distribution of global wealth, and the people of the world "sacrificing" for the global cause under a global "organization"...somehow I missed that part...

That speech

read as if Obama wrote it in the limo on his way to the glorious event. Sloppy logic, errors of history, clunky phrasing. Good heavens. What DO people see in this guy?

Speech

I was not impressed. I did not see him doing the speech, just pieces of it on the news. I did read it and quite frankly I was not sure what the point he was trying to make. Is he running for World Leader or President of the United States or does he think he already is the President of the United States?

Scatbug...

Got me...he's a novel commodity, I guess.

Sue...world leader...

He definitely is in sync with the socialists around the world, and as he says "citizens of the world, this is our time"!

Goodnight All

I am making dinner yes at 1:00AM, grilled chicken and pasta fizzula for the Hubbybear thought I would check-in and yes Barbama is an embarrassment.
Nighty Nite

CB!

You are one amazing woman!Cooking and blogging in one fell swoop!

I'm impressed...

Yes, the world is a better place. Those German kids saw a different looking American than they'd ever seen before! Right there before their very eyes!

Nighty night.;)

Sheila

Your comment re campaign song.. We can wriye a song for him yiyled "A Whole Lotta Nothin goin On " to the tune of Jerry Lewis' Whole lot of shakin goin on!!! what ya think? Can be a Town Hall Project LOLO

Hey Kev...

"Whole lotta nothin' goin' on"...kinda has a ring to it...

You are definitely on key with your entry...

Sheila

I overcooked the chicken, tasty but almost roofing tiles. Hbear said oh it's fine. I knew better poor Hbear. Berlin is now drinking to forget Thursday.

Sheila

How come he did not do the speech in German? Didn't he feel that it was an embarrassment to give it in English?
By the way, how many of the 200,000 adoring fans understood what he was saying? Do they all speak English?

Uh oh...CB

Sorry about that...:)

Sue...

Yeah, after his comments about Americans going abroad and not knowing how to speak foreign languages,it does ring a little hollow for him to show up and speak...English!

Hey

I just posted a new one. I found this great story which I call, "Obama, the greatest story never told."
Check it out if you get a chance.

Obama is fluff

A big difference between Kennedy and Obama is that when Kennedy went to Berlin in 63, he was going as the defiant leader of the free world, standing up to Soviet aggression and supporting the beleaguered people of West Berlin. When Obama went, while he was careful to avoid open criticism of his own country, he was going as the anti-Bush, the voice of American dissent, promising Europisation of America, to undercut the supposed American Exceptionalism that Bush stands for. Kennedy went there as an unashamed leader of America, Obama went there apoligizing for America. That may play well in Berlin, but it sure won't play well in Georgia, Iowa, or even California where many Americans still love our country.

Brilliant, Wil!...:)

I think you are right on, and I have just posted a new blog on a perspective that I think has been missed. Check it out and see if you agree.

Btw, good to see you back.
