The founding fathers weren't all Christians. I never said that. Furthermore, I come at this with an understanding that not only were they not all Christians, their beliefs were very diverse.

No, these "principles" do not fit into just any religious theory. Nor is any other religious theory more evident in our nations founding documents than Christianity. As Mr. Al Stinky made clear, if this nation had been built on Islamic principles, we would not have the freedoms we have today.

If this country had been founded on a completely non-sectarian philosophy, it would have quickly become a dictatorship.
