I considered bigfoot and all the variations of him around the world as well as lizzard man and others. Even if we accept that these creatures exist, the fact remains that given the need for a large number of any particular species to evolve in order to assure the future of the species, souldn't we be hip deep in Bigfoots?

Were they the "missing link" of evolution, even then wouldn't THEY be in various stages of evolution?
