This is an advanced, probably terminal case, of Bush Derangement Syndrome. I heard Medved mention this on the show today, pretty ridiculous.

The lack of caring for working-class city employees in this story smacks of "gross" (in more ways than one) liberal elitism.

Funny thing is, Bush has a good enough sense of humor that he'd probably laugh about it.
