Edwards Affair will lead to scrutiny of first Mrs. McCain

To me this is beyond an affair.

The Edwards campaign was a complete lie and his family knew it. The children were pulled out of school (home schooled) and taken on the campaign trail. Edwards ran on morals, values, and family values.

He deceived his supporters, his workers and the Democratic party.

I wish Mrs. Edwards all of the best, but she lied too. I think that Mr. and Mrs. Edwards owe the public an apology. Also, I feel they need to give back every penny that was raised during this campaign.

And I would like to know who decided, Edwards, his wife, whom ever, that he should run for President after ending the affair. Did he actually think that no one would ever find out?

If he had been the nominee, the party would have a lot of problems. For me, this is more than an affair. It was a complete lie and this hurt a lot of people and I think that John Edwards has a lot of nerve wanting his privacy.
