Morgan-
This is Friday. Okay, we've moped around long enough. Let's quit acting like we've lost our best friend and get to work doing something positive for this country. Our team is still in the game even though we may not be up at bat--and it hasn't been called for rain. We need to get optimistic, get determined, figure out our best options and swing!
It's the Demmies that run exclusively on their feelings--WE'RE supposed to be the smart kids in class, so let's go with that and get something done. They're not going to beat me. If I have to wait another 4 years for us to pick someone and groom them for the presidency, then I can wait. Even if Hillary or Obama gets in, chances are good they'll be responsible for all their f***-ups and we'll have another shot at putting a decent conservative into office--look what happened after Carter and Clinton. Let's take the ball and run with it!

regrouping
a couple of few years ago, when i parted ways with the current potus, i stated loudly that conservatives need a new party.
i have to agree with donal - we may have to wade out the next five years regardless of WHO'S in office (if we can survive as a nation that long).
this is no time to become complacent, morgan.
for some strange reason, i believe all this is being staged - all the more reason to regroup!

Nanc...
What is it that you think is being staged--and who do you think is behind it?
Morgan, I haven't heard from you the last couple of days--you okay?

I'm fine ladies, thanks!
I'm "regrouping" and of course WILL support McCain against whichever of the hard-core socialists emerge. We'll need him for the veto pen if for no other reason. I seriously doubt that a Dem President and Congress would get 8 years, the disaster would be clear to 90% of the American people inside of 2 years of socialist rule.

Huck's dead in the water......
Romney just threw his delegates at McCain. Huck's dead in the water...(Hey, come to think of it... Ted Kennedy likes that, doesn't he (sorry! Very bad joke!))
And Huck's still insisting he's continuing today!.."can't let his SUPPORTERS DOWN". Well, if any of those supporters are throwing money at him still, with absolutely ZERO chance, then we know what those supporters must be like: going on FEELINGS instead of FACTS. Maybe they'll turn into Obama supporters, it almost makes sense.
