It needs to stay a separate entity. We need it, not only for our air defense forces, but also for the work it does in cyber defense.

It is too bad that much of it has gone the way of most government programs and become too unwieldy for its own good.

For my own little neck of the woods, I hope it stays solvent. The tasks performed by the AF everyday help to ensure our freedoms years from now.

I am a civilian contractor at an AF Base in middle TN (also AFMC) and don't always know what all is going on at the top of the ladder.
