As the saying goes....
we get the government we deserve. I would say that those without real job opportunities go into politics. There they can sell their soul for very little and attain a great amount of earthly power.

In Some sense
the democrats are the gift that keeps on giving.
They wont endear themselves to voters...over the next two years the voters are going to have buyers remorse as they realize the democrats are a pack of liars and fools...
Let hope the republicans can get their own crud together in the meantime.

al-Qaeda at fault in Iraq 4 insurgence?
Pelosi is actually partially right. al-qaeda is not solely responsible for the insurgence in Iraq - Iran has a large hand in it too!

Douglas V. Gibbs:
Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly and continuously denied that al-Qaeda has been involved in Iraq. This latest comment by her is another in a long string of those denials. If she had said that al-Qaeda and other forces are to blame for the increased insurgency - great. But she did not. She said that Bush's claim that al-Qaeda has had a role in the insurgency makes her "sad." Call it "partially right" if you will, I call it weird and bordering on denial.
Thanks for checking in to my site and leaving comments. Keep dropping back. I checked out your site recently and sure liked what I saw.
