The Pope

The Pope just declared the Protestant churches are not true Christian Churches. What comes around goes around!!

Mitt no JFK

You have one thing right; Mitt Romney is no JFK.

Mitt Romney was not a deceiving womanizer; JFK was.

Mitt Romney is a man of principle; please do not try to tell me that JFK and his father and his brothers and his nephews, etc. , have any true principles.

Mitt Romney would never leave hundreds of freedom fighters on a beach to be murdered; Romney closed his business to help find the daughters of one of his friends.

You, my friend are no Christian; Christ never taught that it was ok to slander, judge unrighteously, pretend that it was ok to call a man a "raca"! Look it up. You might also learn how to read the Bible without using passages out of context and ignoring any that do not support your misguided teachings.

Now, you can claim; but "by their fruits ye shall know them." The fruits of sour grapes are just that.

I'm sure you will not reply; but if you do, be prepared!

Well OK

No, Catholics do not swear an oath to their church. But the RCC has a history of demanding individuals and governments subject their wills to Rome.

Read the Syllabus of Errors, Marari Vos, Unam Sanctam and the writings of Leo XIII when you have a chance (among many examples).

JOHN ADAMS warned: "All the epithets I have here given to the Romish policy are just, and will be allowed to be so when it is considered, that they even persuaded mankind to believe, faithfully and undoubtingly, that God Almighty had entrusted them with the keys of heaven, whose gates they might open and close at pleasure; with a power of dispensation over all the rules and obligations of morality; with authority to license all sorts of sins and crimes; WITH A POWER OF DEPOSING PRINCES AND ABSOLVING SUBJECTS FROM ALLEGIANCE... nay, with the mysterious, awful, incomprehensible power of creating out of bread and wine the flesh and blood of God himself. All these opinions they were enabled to spread and rivet among the people by reducing their minds to a state of sordid ignorance and staring timidity, and by infusing into them a religious horror of letters and knowledge. Thus was human nature chained fast for ages in a cruel, shameful, and deplorable servitude to him, and his subordinate tyrants, who, it was foretold, would exalt himself above all that was called God, and that was worshipped."

Even in our day (when most American Catholics don't care what the Pope decrees), the RCC threatens US elected official and judges with withholding a "means of salvation" for political positions and court rulings.

Fortunately, most Catholics don't care about the threats. Since Pius IX lost the Papal States and his army, RC politicians function fairly independently.

I agree that the LDS is far more insidious. Your greater point is true. Mormons are far more "dangerous" than any average American Catholic.

Tenore

Thank you for your comment. I was going to say the same thing. Mitt Romney is no JFK and I am thankful for that.

The rest of the other comments by ROMNEY NOT are just stupid and not worth commenting on.
