Sumpter Restaurants

I was in Sumpter mid-September. I was visiting some friends of mine up there which i have done several times and had a great time. I went into the ELkhorn which i have also done several times before. This time seemed to be no different; a couple of birthdays were being celebrated...fun times right. Well later in the night i witnessed a baby in the bar. I was like what the hell...why is there a baby in the bar. I was stupified at what i saw. I also witnessed alot of drinking by who appeared to be the owners kids; the bartender and a girl who barely appeared to be old enough to be in the bar; i think her name was Carolin (I might be wrong). After all of this, i thought about what i saw for a couple of weeks/which brings me to this blog. Not only was this highly illegal, but morally disturbing. I have since filed a complaint with OLCC and will never visit there again. You know i have always thought that the ELkhorn was run a bit differently, but this is too much now. A family who decides that it is OK to subject a baby to THE BAR SCENE. I enjoy Sumpter and will return. I just wanted to let other people know whats going on in town. What else are they up to?
