Congressman rebukes fellow Muslim for linking Islam to terrorism

Relativism

Relativism, relativism! How the left loves ye, O relativism!
Trite comparisons of the violence in Islam to imagined violence in Christianity are preposterous.
Was Christianity violent 500 years ago? Of course. Is it today? Hardly. A handfull self-proclaimed "Christian" nutjobs have committed un-Christian acts, thinking to serve their bastardized version of the religion. Those individuals are universally and loudly denounced. They are denounced firmly and without any prevarication or excuse-making by Christendom.
Compare that to the violence of Islam. Terrorism is almost always excused as "understandable" by the Islamic. The Muslim "street" in every corner of the world supports the use of terrorist acts in "defense" of islam. If any concession is made by a muslim that it may not be a good thing, then that concession is ALWAYS negated by disclaimers like, "however it is understandable because...."
I can hear the whiney voice of some leftist insisting - as if it means a damn thing - that Islam is not "monolithic." That it’s Islamophobic to mention Islam and terrorism in the same breath because, "Islam isn’t monolithic.”
The left labels Christians bigoted. They label our troops as rapists and murderers because of the actions of a few. The left are the kings of applying labels. But suggest that there may be a violence issue in Islam, and they get righteously.
Never mind that the vast majority of all the violence in the world today is centered around and started by Muslims who are hell-bent on destroying all infidels and converting every inch of the planet into an Islamic caliphate. If Christians had the audacity to have the plainly stated goal of converting the entire planet into a Christian Theocracy at the point of a gun, the left would be outraged. But Islam? Ho-hum. Don't be an Islamophobe by mentioning it.
