The Adventures of Obama

Great piece.

There's something else to Wright and Obama that has gone unspoken so far - and I'm doing my best to make note of it.

Wright stood for ***TWO*** things: black separatism (via Black Liberation Theology) and slavery reparations. There are two balls to watch in this game.

What do Wright/TUCC, Farrakhan/Nation of Islam, Shabazz/The New Black Panther Party, and John Conyers ALL have in common?

Black Liberation Theology *and* Reparations!

In April 2007, Conyers -- the House Judiciary Committee Chair -- noted that he was willing to wait to begin his big push for reparation until after Obama was elected to the Presidency. (See TheHill.com)

Considering that Conyers has been pushing hard for reparations since 1989, and finally had a bill (HR 40) introduced into the House in Jan. 2007, you've got to wonder why Conyers suddenly wants to get below the radar for reparations.

Does Conyers know something the rest of us doesn't?

(Note: Obama dodged the reparations question in the SC debate, and may have avoided the State of the Black Union for this reason too - to avoid waves).

Some estimate reparations will cost at least $10 TRILLION dollars (See NCORBA website).

With this in mind, it may be instructive to review Obama's speech, particularly where he raises black inequality and white responsibility/guilt.

In the course of muddying the waters on Black Liberation Theology and race relations, Obama clearly telegraphed his intent to implement reparations.

I'll be sure to keep My Grandma in mind when I vote. We should always vote what's best for previous generations instead of the next ones.

Then, unless the Dimmocrats tax the value out of her estate, you can pass it on to your pet gerbil, or any zygote that you choose to acknowledge as your own.

I don't know why you would favor your offspring, though. Youth are notoriously ungrateful.

A good analysis of the problems facing the democrats. Obama should have looked for a different device for his speech. No politician looks good trashing his own family, it's school yard 101, "No Mamas".

interesting this morning as I was flipping though the program guide on cable...Obama's "church" actually has a Sunday morning TV show. They can spread their hate all across the nation on Comcast cable!
