I think 99% of people would agree with you that were family and friends in imminent danger, we'd all get the information any way possible.

You just inferred from that post exactly the message that I was trying to get those good folks to develop a little.

The real message, I believe, is that there is so little appreciation that most of 300 million other Americans would have that same concern. Our jelly-spined government officials are willing to wait until another disaster crushes, either directly or indirectly, the lives of a lot of those citizens before they are willing to do what is necessary to protect us.

The president and all legislators should be held personally liable for any further terrorist attacks that result from their failure to take, or allow to be taken, every possible preventive measure!
