McCain had every opportunity to knock out Obama, but he never took the shot. Do you think that any intelligent advisor would suggest taking a stand against just being a "me too" candidate? He took the opposite view against those arguing against the surge, why not be as brave and stand on conservative fiscal values and with the Constitution?
