Democrat Party History of Racism, Stand and Be Proud...

Roger was referring to the old democratic party, when the southern racists were a powerful force in the party. The racists got upset when the new majority of democrats pushed civil rights, so left the party forever. The republicans embraced them to increase their membership, so these racists moved over to that party. They realized they could get more as a southern republican block rather than trying to start a third party.

Some years later, the repubs started calling their rivals "the democrat party". What is true is the party with this given name doesn't have a history of racism, like the old named party did. The ones guilty of practicing racism became repubs and never belonged to this so-called democrat party.

Roger has been around the block, so would certainly know this too. His article title is thus deliberately misleading.

But no surprise, since misleading is his present job. He gets rewarded for doing that today. I at first didn't recall him doing this as my mayor. But then, maybe thats what his sensational trial involved - deliberate deception of the public's trust. (And to think i was a hedgecock backer at that time)

His faulty interpretation suggests he doesn't know enough (or knows nothing) about the pertinent facts of what hes talking about.

Isn't it important that the truth be represented, even if you're politically partisan? Fact checking and the truth sure have become unimportant to the shoddy though. The readers should demand more from them, unless they've been conditioned to accept the truth as unimportant to them too. Its been looking like that is the case these days. The facts will always ruin a rant that they desperately want to believe is true.

In the meantime, the repubs will continue trying to point fingers at the dems, the more their acquired racists posture and further repel minorities from becoming repubs. ('cause they cant hep it) - Just look at their reasoning for their lower appeal to minorities, as proof. They dont make a good case of it, so need to invent false reasoning instead. That lie is only turning minorities away even more, because they know whats been going on. Its only believable to the repub choir that dont know the history but want it to be true. Misleading articles like this can only hurt the repubs in the short run because trust matters to the people they're trying to appeal to.

Can you,sir, point to anything the republicans, supposedly the "old dems", have done in recent history to even come close to the hate from the dems against their biggest dependents, I mean supporters, the blacks?
Have they not done everything they can, including supporting Planned Parenthood to the max, to make sure most black children are killed?
Planned Parenthood was created to destroy the black community, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, no republican she, just stated THIS MONTH, that that is what she believes to this day, that abortion was created to control"populations we don't want"!

It was his contention that blacks could never survive without the government, and to see that they became dependent totally on the government, he destroyed the black family by offering black women money for every child she had, AS LONG AS THE FATHER WAS NOT IN THE HOME.
Generations of blacks have been lost to the racist democrats and their lies about helping blacks. They and THE ONE just stopped one of the most susccessful programs for inner-city black school chlidren, because they were learning too much, making the teachers union, who exist to keep children ignorant of our countrys constitution and capitalist system, look bad.

Part 2) Yes Carles, I know the history of this, I only wish the black community would realize it is their friends, who get richer and more powerful every year on claims of helping people who have not been helped in 60 years, that are making a living by keeping them down. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have done pretty good for themselves, hows the trickle down from them workin, Charles?
Was it not George Bush that just did more for blacks internationally then anyone in the world, EVER?
The civil rights act would not have been passed without the higher percentage of republicans then dems voting for it.
Nixon had the voting rights act. I can go on, sir. Again, to answer your question, YES I KNOW THE HISTORY OF THIS.
We had legal slavery in this country for 79 years, after trying as hard as possible to get it stopped at the inception of the country.
We lost half a million people stopping slavery, and blacks in america have the highest and best quality of life of any others in the world. I am proud of this counties history of correcting itself for the betterment of its citizens.

...is Richard Nixon. Charles, did you know that republican racist was the first to use and pout into law, affirmative action. Nixon, that racist, spent more money on civil rights expansion then Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson combined.
The eeoc was given teeth, and he, the racist republican, at a time when the SBA had a dismal record of loans to minorities, created the office of minority business to finance minorities.
The list of laws passed by the people you call racists have actually helped people.
Name me some democrat laws that that did not give more power to the helpers then the minorities.
As an aside, the call them the democrat party, because calling them the "democratic party" implys the others are not (democratic).
Without the republican party, the blacks in this country would still be on plantations. Ask Robert Byrd.
