Obama's experience??

I agree Obambi does not have the experience to be the Pesident or the commander and chief.

I cannot 100% agree that McCain does either being a POW is horrible but does not qualify (and I'm a 24 year NAVY vet myself), being in congress should but in his term in congress he learned compromise not leadership.

As for his 22 years in my NAVY. He retired a Captain which in theory gave him leadership skills; though as a Chief I could tell you some stories but I digress. Unfortunately I believe those attributes as can be seen by MOST of the legislation he supported/ proposed/ fought for was eradicated by the congressional BS 95% of congress persons revel in for job security.

side issue: Obama and abortion

Hi, I'm interested in this political discussion but no one I've talked to has really been able to answer a question I have about Barack Obama. Maybe you can help? During a statement he claimed that we can't know when a person is a person, when a thing is a human being. This was given in response to a question about abortion. But if you can't know when a person is a person, wouldn't you have to, logically, be against abortion? I don't get it. Isn't the issue w/ are actions whether or not they can bring about pain to anohter. But if he just doens't know if it's a human, then he shouldn't allow for people to terminate the fetus. Maybe I'm just really confused but no 1 has been ablto to answrr my question.

In my semi-humble opinion, his opinion does not matter. In the presidential oath of office he will swear to "Preserve and Protect" the Constitution as opposed to congress where he swears to support and defend. Now knowing this, AND THAT our constitution states "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence,[1] promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our POSTERITY, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America".

The also knowing the definition of posterity being; succeeding or future generations collectively.

He must not be in favor of abortion because it is against our constitution.
