Chasing little,or any kids with a wheelchair? And you were the only one to front the curmudgeon? WTH were the rest of those folks thinking? Even a small woman in a wheelchair rolling down a ramp could do serious harm to an adult, for crying out loud, let alone a child. You should be commended by the park, but sadly, I'd be watching for the lawsuit. As for Disney, they truly have lost their way. Not only did they have a good reputation, and a great product, they also were an excellent investment. We sold our stake in them after they capitulated to the Clintonistas on the "Path to 9/11".

Disney?

Clyde,

It was the weirdest thing. From where we were standing at first we could only see a herd of little people running and crying. I left the kids in line and walked up a bit and then I could see Ms. Wheelchair. I can only think the parents were just not thinking about her but the crying kids. But she was aiming at them. When I came up the ramp she was so intent at what she was doing I don't think she saw me until I grabbed the chair. But I did watch for a minute before I went up the ramp just to make sure of what she was doing. I did hear some people complaining about her but I think that the "we can't do anything or we'll be sued" mentality was what they must have been thinking. Talking to the sheriffs later I told them that not even one of the fathers did anything. I guess the attendants must have thought the same thing. Who knows may the foreign visitors thought they would get in trouble if they said anything. I know that they let the little kids in to run up and down the ramp between loadings because of the heat. But if no one is watching them it doesn't make any sense.

I just am over the park thing anyway. In the last couple of months they have arressted 2 pedophiles there. It's not the orginal that it used to be. I don't think the park now is what Walt had in mind.

then there's

Gay Day held during Spring Break for most public schools in Florida.

Both times I've been to a Disney park, I've had that same damned song stuck in my head forever.

You're to be commended for your actions. As you pointed out,the lawsuit fever in this country has turned people into real cowards. This should be a no brainer, common sense situation but the liberal PC crowd and the ACLU has turned everyone into sheep.I'd have done exactly as you, these are kid for crying out loud.

I published my final draft, NOT the finished product!

NEW New Blog :)!

And now...

..We have Six Flags Over Texas having "muslim day."

I would like to have You with Me the next time some unruly kids are screaming in a restaurant while their parents sit idly by.

It's a small world

Crawfish, don't you just hate it when that song will not go away. Ever find yourself walking around humming it? I think someone needs to rethink when they are having their special everyone out of the closet day in these parks.

Eagle, I do not have a lot of patience with jerks. I really feel the same way you do that they are afraid of being sued or even worse now shot, stabbed or beat up with the gangs and punks running around. It is amazing sometime what people will stand and watch and do nothing to help.

Jimmy, please take pictures and post them for the muslim day at Six Flags. For everything that insults them it should be funny to watch.

Trust me you don't want me with you in a restaurant when some of these things happen. It's not a pretty picture. I have lost all patience if it's little kids or big kids. I feel your in public act like it. Or leave. I'm paying for the same thing as they are and if they don't want me dancing on their table they need to grow up and follow the rules of being in public. Oh yeah, I don't dance well either.

No doubt,Walt would be spinning in his grave. Having been on the road for so many years, I had my share of jerks in eateries all over. Been tossed out of a few,as well, one time in particular, when a kid had tossed half of his dinner at me, and having asked the parents three times to get the demon spawn to stop, I finally YELLED at them if they did not have the capability to control their child,I'd be more than happy to blister the fanny. Of course, they got all indignant, and I was asked to leave after speaking to the manager. I told him fine, after having spent $12 for a meal, and $275 for fuel, and at this place, that happened a couple times a week,I would just take my business across the street.

Kids

Clyde,

I know it's like the managers are afraid to say anything. I know I have left places and told the manager why and there have be a couple that took action but more not bothered by it. I was traveling down here to FL from VA and stopped at a Denny's where I usually did and the young lady that was my server? Didn't seem to interested in serving. When I sat there for 20 minutes with out even the glass of tea I ordered I got up and ask her could I please have the tea. She was talking to a young man and young girl the whole time and clearly put out that I bothered her. After another 20 minutes I got up and went to the cashier who was the manager and told him if he had a problem with my leaving and not paying for a meal and tea I never got he should talk to her. He apologized and offered to take care of it and I thanked him but told him I was out of time and would not stop there again. It wasn't as if they were busy. It is really to bad that the youth of today think everything is automatic for them. Apparently the parents do too. I have never let my kids or my grandchildren act out in a public place. But I guess my generation is not in vogue as they say. I have been told by the parents that they don't want to traumatize them by correcting them. I have offered to take care of that and been met with horrorified looks. Oh well.

Poor Walt must be mortified at what is happening with his parks.
