How Cold Was It ?

Excellent article. My grandmother used to watch the sparrows in the fall and how they acted. My grandfather would observe various animals and insects. Both were just simple country folk but could make surprisingly accurate predictions about the winter and the winter storms. Me, I listen to the meterologists and other "scientific" predictions. They seem to be about as accurate as flipping a coin. And Gore and his predictions of catasprophic warming is just so much nonsense. He can no more predict what is going to happen than I can by tossing a coin. As to man being able to affect the climate...well, that to me seems the height of ignorance. To believe that man is that powerful.
