Well, don't hold your breath

for a democrat to sign the dotted line. I disagree that it dwarfs the other issues. To my mind, The WOT is equally important, with the life issue still very critical. If the republicans concede the life issue and nominate a pro-choice guy, well then Ann Coulter is right ~ it is time to hang it up as a country.

Agreed that the WOT is equally important, but the immigration issue is the domestic front of the WOT. Abortion hasn't changed much in the past three decades, regardless of who was in the White House or who controlled the Congress, so I don't see us losing much ground on that front. If this amnesty goes through, watch the violence in this nation increase exponentially. Just in my little corner of the world, most of the police blotter page of the local news is filled with Hispanic surnames, many charged with driving w/o a license. They are over-represented in the crimes stats by at least 20 times their percentage of the population.
