I Now Concur, Liberals Are Clinically Nuts

What happend to Susie the dog? I hope you called the police if your neighbors kept releasing your dog. How did your neighbors get in to let the dog out? I hope you have a tall fence with a bulldog. I had one and she got out frequently until we finally had to keep her inside.Bulldogs are very clever and loyal dogs.
BTW if you say you are a Libertarian you should not care what your neighbors are doing.

This just goes to show how utterly asinine liberal (un)thinking is. In their minds, if a "government" agency/bureaucracy had moved in, provided some sort of Section 8 housing, crime increased, property values decreased, the quality of life went down etc., that would be a good thing. Why would that be a good thing? Because "government" is making it's (inept, as usual) attempt to help the "less fortunate".

However, if an "individual" moves in, uses their own funds, makes improvements etc., this is bad. Why is this bad? Beats the hell out of me! Is it because the "individual" makes an "EVIL PROFIT"? I ask you, what is bad about making a profit by providing a service desired, and willingly paid for, by productive members of society?

*NOTE* This is not a discussion of whether or not society has an obligation to care for those unable to care for themselves nor a discussion of unscrupulous developers taking advantage of "Eminent Domain" (in collusion with liberal's "glorious government") to steal property. Those are topics for another day.

This is true. You shouldn't care what your neighbors are doing as long as they don't deprive you of life, liberty or property in so doing, e.g. smoking marijuana on their own property. On the other hand, trespassing on your property and messing with your dog (whether dogs are family or property is also a topic for another day) is a different story. In that case, you should care!

For what it's worth, I consider pets part of the family.

Why would the city care what you are doing on the inside of your home?I live in a historic district and as long as you use the original materials on the outside of the home (same wood siding,same wood windows,same porch materials) there usually is not a problem.One of the problems is people usually replace porches with wood that looks like a deck (cheap fix)and that will decrease the value of the historic homes and looks ugly.They also put those ugly aluminum windows in and ugly doors from the big box home stores.

I also have one other question about the dog. Why would your neighbors knowing release your dog if they have the knowledge that it chases their loved cats? Are you sure she just was not getting out on her own? Did you see them let her out?

I appreciate that someone is actually reading my thoughts and I have to say thank you. As CindyS and GIMLI have stated since I am a Libertarian I should not care what others think. For the most part that is true. My neighbor’s husband can cheat on his marijuana smoking wife have sex with the Ferrell cat for all I care. As long as he does not do it in front of my son. The problem I have with individuals who have Stalinist attitudes of what should be a norm to fit their worldview and they activity attack you because you do not conform to their worldview to include trespass and vandalism.

For those who are concerned about Susie The Bulldog, this past Thursday (17 April) I left for work at 8:10am. The Ferrell cat marijuana-smoking neighbor called me at 8:27am stating the dog was loose and Animal Control was impounding the dog. A human had to release the dog because the two gates were wired shut and stakes were installed between the post to keep the dog from ever digging and crawling under the chain link fence. I posted bail for Susie that afternoon and kept her at a friend’s house until I could vandalize proof the backyard.

On Friday afternoon I took inventory of what I needed to buy to vandalize proof the backyard. My Ferrell cat marijuana smoking neighbor was watching me. I noticed the un wired gate and she began to smile to let me know of her actions.

I chained and padlocked the two backyard gates. I fenced the back porch to keep her from roaming under the house. This stops this woman from vandalizing the lattice and letting the dog free.

Some of my renovations included exterior issues; re-glazing original windows, reinforcing floor joist, leveling the house, rebuilding the front porch and the collapsed front steps with same original architecture and materials. In 30 days I am going to remedy all the cedar clapboard issues and re-roof then paint. I agree with Nancy69, I also appreciate fine restorations. This project house has taken me 3 times as long since I am meticulous about historical restorations.

This is not my dream house so I am attached to it. I would be willing to sacrifice the house for my social experiment. Those Liberals are going to wish their was a Libertarian who keeps to himself and lives by the golden rule instead of a Ghetto African-American section-8 family next door.

They are incapable of considering the "Law of Unintended Consequences". They just consider, "Let loose the dog, the dog is gone." They don't consider, "Let loose the dog, the dog chases the cats!"

Your so "rich" you should have a tall fence put up, not a chain link, dogs can climb right over it, and it sounds like she is a digger, she could get out. It seems like it is your fault because the area didn't sound secure for a dog. Quit your bitching, from reading your blog you sound like a paranoid.
