POLITICS, IMMIGRATION, AND WARS

Not leaning right nor left, stuck in the middle. We are witnessing an epic battle between the two. Neither side will give in. When all that we read on the blogs is negative towards those that try to lead us, we get disillusioned.

Yes, there are some bad politicians. But right now we are witnessing a Party (Democrat) that would undo everything that has been done to fight terror. I ask the same question that you asked: "Do they have a death wish?"

This morning on Fox News Sunday, Brit said that Americans are forgetting 9/11 and that Democrats are running on the premise that Republicans are just trying to scare us. So, one real question is: Are we in danger from terrorists or not?

In terms of immigration, pork, etc., although important, they are side issues to me. If states didn't want and accept pork, we could get rid of it. The reality is that States want their Senators and Representatives to bring home the bacon.

On immigration, no one can agree on a solution. One was offered but killed.

I think that next year, when things really get started, we will see a clear leader emerge among Republicans. They are not perfect, but to me they are the ones that won't forget 9/11.

If we haven't reached "critical mass" yet, may Heaven help us all. Mercy!

You've convinced me. Naturally, I knew it but I didn't want to believe it. I just hope that somebody's around (in this country) who knows what button to push and in what direction. I agree about collateral damage, too, although I don't want to. I have a husband, daughter and two grandchildren. Just like a few other Americans--with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As far as immigration is concerned, of course there's nobody in this administration who has the backbone or anything else to get a fix on that. There's a little time left, and I hope in that time somebody on the elephant's side will emerge as a strong character for law and order. Most of us aren't asking for the moon and the stars. We're just asking for the laws to be enforced. To some, that's obviously asking for too much.

Well, Hitlery! has already seen the future critical mass, when she said that any terrorist attack between now and November 2008 will be a big lift for the GOP. Notice that the Dims immediately chastised her because that subject is off-limits for discussion in public!
