Why We Love Bruce Willis (And Why We Can't Stand Tom Cruise)

I like Bruce and his characters because they are always the little good guy against the big bad guys facing outrageous odds…Die Hard and especially Tears of the Sun. But I think my affinity for Bruce is more on a primordial level, one that resonates with a victim. I don’t know what kind of human being Mr. Willis is on a personal level. But who could not help but feel sorry for him when Demi dumped him for that Aston Kucher creep? Same feeling that I had for Nicole Kiddman when Tom went off the deep end and how badly I felt for Jennifer Aniston when Brad cheated on her with Ms Big lips…I will instinctively gravitate toward the underdog and that is what Bruce represents. That is why I like Jennifer and Nicole too. Not because they are beautiful women. Face it, they are that, but rather no matter how attractive, successful or rich one may become, you can still be taken advantage of and dumped on…that is why I will always pull for the Bruce Willis’ of the world rather than the Aston’s, Tom’s or Brad’s.
