Is perception everything?

When I was growing up, hearing the name of the town Bakersfield always conjured up glamour in my mind.

For some reason I had associated Marilyn Monroe with Bakersfield. Is there a real reason for it?

I previously commented on your idea for a new business enterprise in Bakersfield, and so the comments won't be repeated.

The idea of glamour will remain in my mind even without the new enterprise. Bakersfield is definitely on the map already.

Weedpatch wasn't, though. Maybe a new enterprise there....
