BTW, you realize that Obama cannot claim he is African-American at least not in the slave sense. His heritage is that of slave OWNERS. What a coincidence, soon he'll have MANY slaves at his command!

Who made you knuckle under? Why do you feel like you have to tip-toe around issues of color? You sound a bit conflicted. You are bold with your blog posts, yet you say you tip-toe around issues of race? I don't get it.

Did you read Mike Gallaghers blog? Evidently not! He gets called a RACIST for wearing a black armband! A BLACK ARM BAND! It has long been a symbol of a person in mourning....only now, blacks have adopted it as a symbol of racism! Does that mean widows who dress in black to mourn the passing of their spouse are racists too?

Whoever thinks that can GO TO HELL! There is nothing racist about it!

And since you have further failed to read my comments on Professor Ogletrees assertion that even though white americans who voted for Obama are still racists...he can GO TO HELL too!

I have not read his column, but I listen to his radio show. Listen, Brian, just 'cause somebody says something, it does not make it so. There's an old saying, "Its not what you call me, its what I answer to." I agree, a black armband is a symbol of mourning. And now you are all in a huff because someone has said that is now being considered a symbol of racism. Instead of getting mad, you should just chuckle that one off. Its not funny, however, the way you are reacting to the nonsense of the Dems on the left that keep race baiting alive and well. As far as I am concerned, Prof Ogletree and other like him loose more and more of their credibility each time they use tactics, and it is just that, tactics, to gin up emotion from their opponents. I read an another Townhall column that in the handbook for radicals written by Saul Olinsky (spelling?), he states that getting an emotional response from your opponent is a part of the left, radical playbook. Don't play into their hands.

...im not sure how old you are, but I have been following politics since 1980....and the one thing that just keeps popping up is blacks calling people racists every time a voice is uttered in opposition.

After about a billion times it gets old and forgive me for getting sick and tired of hearing about it.

Maybe that is the problem of the republicans as a whole! Maybe we dont get fired up enough! It sure would have helped John McCain some.
