I can't help but wonder John where we're at in prophecy. It is written that all nations will gather against Israel. The fight will be over religious beliefs. Religion will be/IS blamed for every conflict and problem on earth. Nonetheless, people want there to be religion if for no other reason than for comfort's sake.

So at some point the Bible says there will be a merger of all religions into a single spiritulism that will be acceptable to all nations and will replace all the various sects and kinds of religion theretofor blamed for warss, poverty and suffering. The choice for the people of the world will be to accept the new order, hence be counted with the beast, or to stand with Israel and be counted with GOD.
